The product has changed

some few years ago I paid over £30 and purchased your plus package, but today I can only access the same as the free package available on the internet. What happened to the membership I paid you for? with all the features.

Please note that each version (RealPlayer 18, RealPlayer 16, RealPlayer 15, etc.) is considered a separate product -- so if you've purchased previous version, you received updates and support of that version for no additional fees or hidden charges. However, we are no longer updating or supporting previous versions. They are no longer available for download. 

New versions are new products and like most software companies, we charge for major upgrades. For customers on Windows 7 and higher, we are now offering RealPlayer Plus version 18 / RealTimes. We always recommend using this latest version of RealPlayer. This is the only version available for download on our website: http://www.real.com/. This new version comes with additional features and accessing its Plus features, requires a separate purchase.

I totally agree with this post.  I have been using Real Player for well over ten years & have loved using it for all my media playing & recording; but I have found the ease of use of the features have gone steadily down in the last few years.  In the past, I have been able to download videos to Real Player with a few clicks.   Now I have to download them to Cloud, if I can download them at all, which is much easier said than done.  Also, the premium features do not automatically come on when I sign in; and I am invariable prompted to buy them again, only to be told I have already purchased them (assuming my user name and password is accepted, which is not safe to assure).  All in all, I am disappointed in the updates to the program in recent years; and, after all these years, am looking for a replacement program.
