Converting to iTunes

A few weeks ago I posted a problem I was having with the "Converter".

The problem was; when I converted to AAC files( into itunes) the converter was duplicating many ( not all) of the converted files. This meant that duplicates were added to the iTunes library, which I then had to manually delete.

After posting this I was contacted by Real Player and instructed to completely uninstall and the re-install "Real Player". This I did, and for the next few times it worked OK. Now the problem has returned. I have just converted 10 files and 6 of them were duplicated. It's not a huge problem to delete them but this is the first time I have had this problem with Real Player, after using for 6 years!

Are there any other helpful suggestions please?

The latest version of RealPlayer (v18) does not have the feature that older RealPlayer versions used to have that allowed adding converted music files to iTunes. If you are using an older RealPlayer version like 16, please note that these versions are no longer updated or supported and they may stop working properly at any given time.

If you are using the latest RealPlayer version, please explain what exact steps you are taking when converting files and adding them to iTunes, so we can assist you further. To learn how to check what RealPlayer version you are using, please refer to: How can I tell what version of RealTimes (RealPlayer) I have on my PC?

We have removed this feature. You will have to manually add your music files to iTunes.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
