Signing In generally and Using Facebook

I cannot sign in! I am using Windows 10. If I try to sign in it tells me to sign in using Facebook, That simply does not work. I have tried creating a new account but cannot because my existing email address is linked to an existing account. I am using my correct Facebook sign in details. Help?
