Deleting old files

Lately I am having issues deleting files I no longer want. Either it takes a long time or nothing happens and I get a message.....unable to delete?

why is this happening? do I need to uninstall the player and reload it?

 

Sometimes I just go back in at a later date and it works. We are not talking about a lot of files. Maybe fifty or sixty. Any suggestions?

  Are these files stored in your C drive or stored in an external drive?

  Instead of reinstalling RealPlayer, first try restarting your computer and try again. If it still takes a long time to delete, you can reinstall RealPlayer.
