safrscan.exe - Application Error
I have successfully updated my older version of Real Player Plus 20, which I was using without any problem, to a newer version RealPlayer Plus 220.127.116.117.
From that time I've got permanently on my Windows 10 Pro screen a new Error Box:
"safrscan.exe - Application Error"
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application. OK Button
OK is an awesome option, because it makes you busy for the rest of your life. If you click OK, it would close the Error Screen, and it would reopen it again. Until the Halleluyah. Great! I tried to reboot. The Error Screen reappeared. It's a nasty egocentric one. It is trying to be in the center of your computer screen.
Does anybody know, how to get rid of it without uninstalling Real Player?
When I uninstall RealPlayer Plus 18.104.22.1687, the Error Screen would disappear. Unfortunately, the uninstaller of RealPlayer 20 uninstalls something from my "Microsoft Student Encarta Premium 2009" as well. That means the next step is to use the installation DVD to fix the Encarta installation. If I reinstall RealPlayer 20, the newest version is automatically installed, and the Error Screen "safrscan.exe" reappears. After repeating this procedure couple of times, I have found an older version RealPlayer Plus 22.214.171.124. That one works fine in my Windows 10 Pro system.
I think the problem is that the programmers write their programs supposing that it would be the only program to be used on your computer. They do not tune up the conflicts.
