    Can you please let us know the following information:

    1. Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
    2. Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab.

    Please provide us with the version number you see there.

    Could you also let me know which firewall program you are using?

    We identified the problem regarding the inability to download videos from YouTube and fixed it now. YouTube made some changes on their end so it broke our Downloader's compatibility. Here is what you should do to update the Downloader.

    1. Using Chrome, Firefox or Edge, go to YouTube.com and play any video and click the Downloader button. (This action may still show "Unable to download" message)
    2. Close all Windows,
    3. Restart your PC.

    Now try downloading your video. If the issue persists, please let us know.

    RealPlayer please inform your customers because when you go to preferences on the left side list it doesn't help you do this, at least I couldn't solve the problem until I did it this way.  I have seen so many people asking this question. Unable to find the download button, where you want your downloaded videos to be sent to, etc.  To solve these problems sign in to RealPlayer, go to the dropdown list on the left side and click Download Video,  once on that page click Preferences on the top list of page.  Here you will be able to set your download button and enter where you want your downloaded video to be sent. Hope this helps
