RealPlayer cannot download videos on this page

Yesterday on February 16, 2023 I could download videos on YouTube and today I can't. I keep getting the message "RealPlayer cannot download videos on this page" on any video I try. I'm having the same problem on Chrome, Firefox and Edge. I've tried restarting RealDownloader, restarting my browsers, and restarting my desktop PC. Nothing works.

  With regards to the inability to download videos, we were able to identify the root cause and our engineering team was able to resolve it. To be able to download videos again, please follow these steps.

  1. Attempt to download any video of your choice (You will still have the same error).
  2. Simply restart your computer.
  3. Upon restarting your computer, the Downloader will be updated in the backend and your downloads should start working.
   
  If the issue still persists, please let us know.

  We are in Feb of 2023 and mine is the exact same issue...On all browsers. I've reinstalled, nothing works

  same.

  here in 2025, still the same although it worked up to yesterday. reinstalling and restarting and even reinstalling nvidia drivers didn't work either
