We reached out to BitDefender and they have removed the False warning. You shouldn't have this problem anymore. If you do, please let us know what file name BitDefender shows.

I am running BitDefender Total Security 27.0.30.140 and it will not allow RealPlayer to install.  It blocks Rnseteup2.exe as malware.  My operating system is Windows 10 build 19045.  Please advise.

Same thing here trying to update from 22.0.5.310 to 22.0.6.305. Bitdefender just blocks saying its infected then proceeds to remove any traces of it.

    Bitdefender reports infection during upgrade:

rndlp.exe, dllhost.exe,au_setup_22.0.6.305.exe. Not sure what this means.

We are working with BitDefender to unblock these. They are legitimate files but BitDefender is flagging them.

BitDefender is blocking updates, causing my RealDownloader not to work.

BitDefender is whitelisting the files on their end so this shouldn't show the false alerts it is currently showing. In the meanwhile, here is a workaround to install RealPlayer.

    1. Download RealPlayer installer from www.real.com
    2. Run the downloaded installer.
    3. When you see "Welcome to RealPlayer" dialogue, click X or Cancel to exit.
    4. You will be prompted to click Alternate Installer. Click that.
    5. This will download the full installer of RealPlayer. Double clicking that will bypass the error message and install RealPlayer.
