    this is what's happening because of these lousy Windows 10 updates.  I have my computer hooked up through an HDMI cable to my TV. when I would play the video on the Real Player and switch it to my TV the video would be full screen on my TV and play fine. Since the update the video only has sound on my computer with no video but on my TV it plays sound and video but the picture is only half the size so I'm trying to figure out how to get it back to the way it was. If anybody knows the fix, please let me know thanks

    To resolve this issue, perform a clean uninstall and reinstall of RealTimes by following the below article:

    https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/articles/204040013

    Make sure you delete the RealPlayer folders as mentioned in the below article, before reinstalling RealPlayer.

    https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/articles/220342848

    NOTE: Deleting these folders will remove any playlists you've created; the files will remain in your library but the playlists will need to be re-created.

    Let us know the progress.

    Uninstalling RealPlayer and deleting the folders will not remove the content from your library but you need to re-create any playlists you've created;

    Having same trouble with new real player loads library but photos show up when double clicking on them, but videos do not play. This has been listed on site as Microsoft Kb4013429 update as the problem.

    It was suggested to uninstall Kb401329 update on this site but this is not possible to do. Microsoft does not a lough this to be done. It will just reinstall if you manage to uninstall in the first place.

     I have used real player for many years and have over 20,000 videos and 70,000 photos on my storage drive, redundant until there is a fix.

     This problem excited on a previous version,I can not understand why real have released this update without testing it first.with a updated Microsoft  windows security updates installed ( KB40129 ) .

    Windows 10 was forced on to so many people by Microsoft,  I can only image 75% of the world is running windows10 now and take the updates on there computers etc.

      I am not a person looking for something free to use but to upgrade to a plus version of  real18 - something that is not working is not on.
