Real trimmer not working accurately in Windows 11

When I try to chop the first 20 seconds off a video in Windows 11, the saved trimmed video starts at the same point as the original i.e. nothing has happened.

 

NB  I know the trimmer works because I can cut anything from within the video with ease although not accurately i.e a few seconds is added onto the start of the trim.

  What format is this particular video? We tested it on a Windows 11 and it works just fine.
