Want my old version back

I was happy with my older version of RealNetworks programs. When I was asked to update my apps, and did, it reverted me to the basic, FREE version. I already paid for RealNetworks twice, and will not pay again. Please help me here.

  This happened also to me! I`m very angry about this. It´s a kind of Fraud. No one told me before what would happen to my paid version. Real Networks, do you this I´ll will do this again? So pleas find a solution for me. Thnak you!

  Yeah, it is happening to everyone because EVERYONE thinks "Pay Once" means just that.  Look at the RealPlayer Plans page. It does not say you are just buying the current version.

  Look at the payment page it does not say it is for the current version.

  And if you still have it (like I do) check your conformation email.  It does not say it is for "RealPlayer 22"
  
  You have to complete the sale to then have hidden in your account info that the payment was only for the 22 version.

  
  If you give in and pay there it is entirely possible in seven months they could release version 25, and you would then be asked to "Pay Once" for a third time.

  Simply put it does not seem they care, phone contact seems to be impossible, if you manage to find the feedback help section, they are unhelpful.  I will probably be making a BBB complaint today.

  I was provided this link to reinstall version 22, but keep in mind they probably don't do updates for it anymore ore they are far behind the 24 version so you might not be able to use the downloader on some sites.

  also in light of these bait and switch sails tactics I and a few others have taken to using the browser extension "Video DownloadHelper"  So far it seems pretty good.
