Real player wont play older WMV files

  What error do you get when playing WMV files? You could use RealConverter to convert them MP4 and play them.

  I don't get an error message.  I can put the videos on my media library or try to open by clicking real player and downloading them, but when i cliick to play then real player shuts down.

  If I use real converter and convert the files to MP4 the audio will play but not the video

  Please help with the original problem.   Real Player will not play wmv files.

  We still need a sample WMV file to test. Only then we will be able to tell where the problem is. Can you please attach a short WMV file?
