MP4 and AVI files will not play?

Downloaded the latest version of RealPlayer on 3 different computers. None will play MP4 or AVI files. Tried all the suggestions in the support data base; including hardware settings and CODECS. RealPlayer is useless to me without MP4 compatibility.

  Where did you get these files from? They may be having some codecs that are incompatible with RealPlayer. Have you tried playing the same files with Windows Media Player?

  Please note: RealPlayer is compatible with MP4 formats if they have proper codecs.

  Downloaded from RealPlayer web Site, twice. All of my video files play fine with Windows Media Player. I have 3 Desktops and 3 Laptops, none will play MP4 or AVI with Real Player? Two have Windows 11 the remaining are Windows 10. Also tried downloading and installing recommended CODECs.
