Status dialog box does not appear when streaming

When I try to record a streaming video and press the record button (the record button blinks like it is recording), and finish the recording (I stopped the recording button),  the Status Dialog box NEVER appears to show that the video was recorded, and no video appears in my library.

  What is the website you are trying to record from?
