Playlist Folder

I follow the steps in making Playlist Folders but they do not "show up" in the Playlist Bar. My other work computer has no problems. However, when I go to make a playlist (not a folder) it will ask me which Playlist folder would I like to add it to and the folders show up there but I cannot access them. Any suggestions? Is it the computer or the program?

  Can you please let us know what versions of RealPlayer are installed in both your computers? 

  Playlist folders in the current version (v.18) are not supposed to work. We are in the process of retiring this. However, playlists will continue to be there.

  I have 18.1 on the computer that is giving me problems. Both are 18.1 I went ahead and made playlists instead of folders and entered the clips for 3 months worth of work- one short clip per month. When I went to it this morning- all clips were gone from the playlists and from the library

  Did anything change on this computer that is missing the playlists? Did you reinstall RealPlayer or did Windows crash recently? Any Windows upgrades recently?

  I reinstalled the program after uninstalling it due to the erratic functioning of the program. When it reinstalled it worked for a bit allowing me to make Playlist folders then it stopped. So, I modified the way I use it by developing a playlist for each date and it allowed me to add clips to those dates. Those are the clips that disappeared. (This was after the new installation.) I just now completed reentering the lesson clips for several dates to see if it will hold. This program is used for my church in posting videos of music and of short lesson clips. Thank you for your quick response.

  I just noticed that I have the Convert HD videos to Realmedia HD- Does this matter? I don't think I had this checked before

  Converting your videos to RealMedia HD shouldn't make any difference. It is quite possible that something crashed and caused errors to the library.

  Please do let us know if this issue reappears.

  So what I have now- no playlist folders - will be the norm? Also, I have Plus. Thank you

  While playlists still work, playlist folders don't. We are retiring this from the view in a future update.
