I downloaded a new video and am able to ff and rewind just fine. It only seems to be a problem for some videos that have been in my library for a while, and it's not a problem for all of them.

Thanks. The instructions mention "deleting my library." Will I lose all of the videos in my library if I uninstall and reinstall RealPlayer?

Videos are in my library, and have been for months. This problem with not being able to skip forward or backward during playback is new.

Can't fast forward or rewind without video freezing up.
I can play the video just fine in real time, but if I want to skip ahead, I end up with a still image on the screen, even though the time counter keeps moving forward.
