REALPLAYER DOES NOT OPEN

have windows 10.  just started couple of days ago.  realplayer does not open.  tried removing program from pc.  reinstalling.  >  same problem.  checked through support page, found nothing.  with the minimal customer support from real, hoping to get realplayer up and running again.  either that, or start looking for a program that has support.  frustration level with realplayer getting to be too much.
