It looks like Polycom software you have is conflicting with RealPlayer. Can you please confirm which software of Polycom you have on your computer so we can test it in our labs.

In the meanwhile, please follow the instructions from the below link to resolve your issue.

    https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/articles/220342848-Delete-the-RealPlayer-application-folders-clean-uninstall-

Please note: If you have any playlists created, you will have to recreate them.

I have only the vaguest recollection of Polycom in some other software update - iTunes, or ? or perhaps in some group meeting I attended. I'm not sure. However, looking down the list of installed programs I indeed see a Polycom group with three entries 1. Polycom RealPresence Desktop 2. RPD Log Collector 3. Uninstall Polycom RealPresence Desktop. I'm real tempted to do just that since I don't recall using it for anything. However, I'll try your instructions first. Thank you.

Well uninstalling the RealPresence Desktop software fixed things right up. Have no idea when I might want it again, but if I do, I will reinstall it with more conscious thought. It was apparently a 30 day trial period version FYI. Thank you.
