Print jewel case insert

How do I print an insert for my CD or DVD?

This is a Premium feature.

A jewel case insert is the paper insert commonly found in CD (and some DVD) "jewel case" boxes. A typical insert displays front and back cover art, a list of tracks, and sometimes liner notes.

Print a Jewel Case Insert

  1. Click the application logo on upper left, then File > Print.
  2. Edit and fill in the fields of the "Print Jewel Case" dialog. (See table below.)
  3. Print inserts.
  4. Cut out and fold the insert as marked on the pages.

The "Print Jewel Case" dialog:

Front Cover Art

Browse... — Locates and opens the JPG, GIF, or BMP file that you want to use for the front cover art. The image will be resized to fit. Optimum image ratio is a 1:1 square; for example, 342 x 342 pixels for a regular jewel case.

Back Cover

Use Text... — The titles and play length of all tracks in the selected CD will be printed on the back cover. Limit is 30 titles.

Enter the CD title. The title will be printed in bold above the list of /tracks on the back cover.

List of Clips

Clip names as they will be printed, based on the current view in the CD/DVD page.

Use Back Cover Art — Click Browse... to locate and open an image file to use for the back cover art. The image will be resized to fit. Optimum image size is 342 x 342 pixels.

Select to print an additional booklet page that lists all the tracks on the CD. (Tip: Use this to include track titles and lengths when you select art for the front and back covers.)

Views front cover and back cover (and booklet, if selected) before printing them.

Prints the jewel case inserts as you have set them up.

Closes the dialog.
