cant burn files to dvd

Try to burn videos that I have  burned before when I had real player 16, HAD to update to 18, and same files that I used to burn before says "unknown file type".What do I do ?

  To resolve this issue, try installing the additional codec packs listed in this article: 'Unsupported file type' error

  After installing the codecs, restart your PC and try burning the files again. If the error persist, please see also: DVD Burning: Troubleshooting Tips
