lost realplayer in control panel

 this is odd but ive been having troblems with realplayer technically. When I download videos the banner that shows the download progess doesnt show the vids avatar like it used to , also when its done the button that says "view library" doesn't work so now I have to go look for the download manually in my files. So I thought , ok ill just remove realplayer altogether and reinstall it. Problem is that realplayer no longer shows up in my control panel! yet I still have the program..broken but its still there. Then I said ok..ill just go to my downloaded program list and reinstall it there..but the problems still persist! How can I find realplayer in my windows 8 and remove it to reinstall...or better yet how can I fix all the other issues

  This happen when the RealPlayer uninstaller component is missing or corrupted. To resolve this, follow the below solutions:

  Solution 1: Over-install RealPlayer by visiting http://www.real.com/, click the Download RealPlayer for Free button, and follow the prompts to install the current version. 

  Solution 2: Uninstall RealPlayer by following the article:

  Solution 3: Re-install the RealPlayer by visiting http://www.real.com

  To resolve this issue, follow the below solutions:
  
  Solution 1: Deleting temporary Windows files and folders:

  Solution 2: Uninstall RealPlayer by following the article:

  Solution 3: Run Microsoft's Fixit program:
  
  Go to http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall and run the Fixit program. This tool is often helpful in cleaning up previous installations and fixing installer issues. Remove entries related to RealPlayer and RealDownloader.
  
  Solution 4: To download and install a new copy of the application, visit http://www.real.com/, click the Download RealPlayer for Free button, and follow the prompts to install the current version.
