Realplayer will not play downloaded videos

I had a windows 10 update yesterday. Since then Realplayer will not play any videos. I get the "Realplayer has stopped working... A problem caused the program to stop working currently. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" message.

The videos play perfectly fine on the Windows Media Player.

I have uninstalled Realplayer, and re-installed the latest version, but I still get the same problem.

Can you help or do I have to ditch RealPlayer for good?

  Customers using RealPlayer on a Windows 10 PC were affected by an incompatibility introduced by a recent Windows 10 update (KB4013429).

  Microsoft announced a new update on March 20 (KB4015438) that corrects this issue. This update can be downloaded and installed from Windows Update. For more information, visit the Microsoft support site.
