Unable to play some podcasts that Windows Media Player WILL play

I have Premium Real Player that I pay for monthly. I frequently play podcasts from a single site, usually on Real Player, but several from the same site will not play. But when I open these same unplayable files with MS Media Player, they play just fine. So it's not corrupted files, but something in Real Player itself.

I'm talking about a specific podcast website, where I can play approx 9 out of 10 files, and then find one that won't play on RP, but WILL play on MP. Why?

Would it be possible to share the link of a Podcast you are unable to play? Also, please let us know how exactly you are playing the podcast in RealPlayer.

Unfortunately, they were purchased as part of a batch of 50 programs from Dan Carlin's Hardcore History. There were 7 or 8 of the 50 that would not play in Real Player, even after I re-downloaded them individually, but they will play in Media Player (which I usually never use) and I play his free programs in Stitcher.

I would be happy to purchase individual programs (as gifts) for anyone interested in helping me (if that's possible. I'll look into that.)

Is there any way to upload an mp3 file here? That's how my podcasts are shown on my computer for RealPlayer to play. Or could I send one of the files to customer service?

You can't upload MP3 file here. You can send us the sample file by following the below instructions.

To send us a file up to 1 GB in size, please follow these instructions:

1. Go to https://tobor2.prognet.com/cgi-bin/incoming.cgi
2. You will see instructions for attaching the file. Choose the file you want to send us.
3. In the "to" section, enter "gsharma".
4. In the box below, enter your email address and/or ticket number, along with a brief note about the issue (just a sentence is fine).
5. Click Send.

We will review the file(s). If for some reason we have difficulty receiving the file, we will let you know.
