Power User Installation Failure
Hi there,
I am trying to install real player pro on a corporate laptop.
I have power user rights and as such can install all software, (with the exception of real player), by right clicking on the executable and selecting "Run as Administrator".
Is there any solution for the message that I do not have rights to install?
Why is this check necessary?
Thanks,
Vincent.

We are not aware of any such issues restricting installation especially if you have Admin rights to install. Can you please let us know the exact error message you are seeing?

Here is a snapshot

But, I have had no problems installing
Visio, Mapinfo, Skype, Winamp, GoodSync, Driver Easy, MS Project, and lots others

That screenshot indicates that you are trying to install a very old version of RealPlayer. Please try from www.real.com and let us know what happens.
