How to change download folder in 2020

I had to reinstall.  Now I do not know how to select download folder.  I went to preferences but it does not look like the help example.

  To change the download folder, please follow these steps.

  • Open RealPlayer Downloader.
  • Click RealPlayer Downloader logo from the top left corner and click Preferences.
  • In the "Save local files to:" is where you can change the download path by clicking Browse and choose your folder. (By default, it will be saved to your Videos folder)

  I did as you said there is no place for download I can see. These are my preference options:

  General
  Connection
  Library & Device Sharing
  People Search
  CD
  DVD
  Content
  Automatic Service
  Hardware
  Recording

  You are looking at the wrong place. You are looking at RealPlayer's preferences but I am requesting you to look at Downloader preferences. You can follow these steps if you feel this is easier.

  • Click RealPlayer logo on the top left corner.
  • Now, you will see Download a Video just above the Preferences, click that.
  • This will open up your RealDownloader window.
  • From here click the logo on the top left corner and click Preferences.
  • In the "Save local files to:" is where you can change the download path by clicking Browse and choose your folder. (By default, it will be saved to your Videos folder)
