Saving video master in Realplayer
When I download a video my computer saves it in Videos file. I can then transfer a copy to Realplayer, but that means I have 2 copies saved.
How do I save the master copy to Realplayer and eliminate the 2nd copy in the videos file?
Now I can delete the copy in Realplayer and maintain the original in my computer video file. But, if I delete the original in my video file, the copy in Realplayer disappears also. How can I get the original into being saved in Realplayer and eliminate the need for a second copy on the computer?

When you download a video, by default it is saved in your Videos folder. RealPlayer simply looks at your Videos folder and adds to its library. It doesn't mean there are 2 copies. RealPlayer is a media player that adds videos to its library. So when you are deleting the video from the saved location, RealPlayer won't be able to see it any further. That is why you are not seeing it when you delete the video. To summarize, you are not having 2 copies of the same video but just one.

Got it. But, if that is how it works it kind of negates the reason for having a private cell in Realplayer as one already exists in the Microsoft Windows Video folder.

All media players work this way. Ours is also designed the same way.
