    Based on your description, it looks like RealPlayer installation didn't go on properly. Something is not installed correctly. We would like you to restart your computer and try again. If the issue persists, please "over-install" RealPlayer by going to www.real.com. Over-install simply means installing RealPlayer over the existing RealPlayer. When you go through the installation process, you will be prompted that RealPlayer is already installed, simply proceed with the installation when prompted.

    If it continues to behave the same way, please let us know.
