real player 20 and 22. Frustrating mess

I upgraded to Real Player 22 from 20 a few days ago and could not get the equalizer to work, even though I was signed in. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled Real Player 20. Now the equalizer works fine, bur the downloader will not work, even though I'm signed in. This seems to happen all the time with this company. It seems there are many posts of unsatisfied customers in one form another. Your tech support is lousy or non-existent, so it's virtually impossible to seek the proper help. You abandoned your phone tech support years ago, and give your customers instead a community forum  which doesn't work very well either. If there was any way I could switch to another service provider instead of Real Networks, I would do it in a heartbeat. You do know how to take our money, though. That's one thing you're good at.
