DVD won't play on Real Player 22 express

In October I paid additional $26.55 for Realplayer 22 Express. It doesn't play DVDs, but says I have to upgrade?? Is this true??

  You can't burn DVDs with Downloader Express. You will need RealPlayer Plus for that. Here are the differences between all of our RealPlayer versions.
