Mac download: cannot connect to app store

I'm running Sonoma 14.1.2, once I click the download now button it takes me to a click to open App Store. Once it's opened it's giving the error, "Cannot connect to App Store." Do you I need to change the region on the app store?

  We don't have a Mac version of RealPlayer. It works with Windows only.
