Unable to sign in to RealPlayer v11

    I am now able to get to the sign in page, but I am now getting a message stating "Please verify and re-enter your email and password, or click cancel to use RealPlayer without signing in".

    However, I know my email and password are good as I used them to get in to the support area here and was able to sign in on the real.com website to look at my account.

    I know that you are unable to support password resets or new account creation for this version of RealPlayer (v11), but I am not trying to do either of those actions.  I am trying to log in to an already existing account. 

    Your help is appreciated.

    As RealNetworks makes new products available to customers, it is not possible to continue supporting legacy and historic products, including: RealPlayer 15, 14, SP or any prior version.

    I am not asking for anything more than to have my login, which already worked, to authenticate.  I am not asking for a password reset.  I am not asking for a new account.

    Authentication of already existing accounts for software that has been paid for (and for which login and password are known) should not be something that expires or is unable to continue to be authenticated.

    And now the sign in page is gone... again. 

    Seriously, how hard is it to keep authentication working?  Make it work and I'm a happy camper.  I have no need or desire to use any version beyond v11.  Just make authentication work.

    We understand your concern. Unfortunately, the option to install RealPlayer 11 is no longer available and as RealNetworks makes new products available to customers, it is not possible to continue supporting legacy and historic products, including: RealPlayer 15, 14, SP or any prior version.
