The fpt file extension is associated with variety of xbase applications such as FoxPro, Visual FoxPro, FileMaker Pro, dBase etc. FPT file is used to store database memo data. FPT files don't contain any data stored in main database, memos are only "text notes" about database tables.

The file is located at C\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Real\RealPlayer\db\TRACKS.FPT
I believe versions of RealPlayer installed on the computer ranged from v11.03 to v16.00.

Thank you for the additional information.The entire \RealPlayer\db\ directory contains files required for the database in RealPlayer 16 to function; TRACKS.FPT is simply one of these files, and should not be deleted.

What I would like to understand is what is found in this file. I would like to know if the title of a file is listed in the tracks.fpt, does it mean that file was viewed using the application.

As this is old technology that is not used in the newer versions (RealPlayer 18 and RealPlayer Cloud), I'm afraid we don't have any more information about what this file might contain.
