Exporting playlist from reAl player cloud to real times

    That is true, you can't transfer your playlists. Here is why:

    1. When a playlist is created, it keeps a track of the path where the video or music file is.

    For example: If abc.mp3 is stored in your music folder, the complete path of that file stored in the playlist will be something like C:\Users\<Your Old PC Name>\Music\Deep Purple. If you have copied this specific file to your new computer and the path of the file is C:\Users\<Your New PC Name>\Music\Deep Purple, transferring the playlists will not work because the playlist will not find the music file as the path has changed.

    However, if you ensure that each and every file is identical in terms of path and file name, you can transfer the playlists to your new PC and I believe it should work.

    You can find your playlists stored in a database (.db) file. Here is how you do it: Instructions for your old PC

    1. Close RealPlayer 

    2. Make sure you close it from the taskbar as well (Found on the bottom right corner of your Window)

    3. Open Task Manager and end the following tasks if they are opened

        a. RealConverter

        b. RealDownloader

        c. RealNetworks Scheduler

        d. RealPlayer

        e. RealPlayer with RealTimes

        f. RealTimes Desktop Service

    4. Open C:\Users\<Your PC Name>\AppData\Local\Real\RealPlayer

    5. You will have to move library.db to your new PC's same location

    6. If it doesn't allow you to copy, you will have follow steps 1 through 3.f on your new PC to allow the .db file to be copied.
