Please make sure that the RealDownloader has a download path. To resolve,

    1. Open RealDownloader

    2. Click the RealDownloader logo on the top left corner and go to Preferences

    3. Make sure "Save to" has a download path and click OK

Downloading multiple videos is now a paid feature.

    Real CS:

I don't know what version of RealPlayer you have but there is no "Save to" option in my version!!

When I go to the Preferences, and expand the "Library & Device Sharing"  part of the tree, there is a "File Storage" branch that gives one the storage location for their Music, Videos, and Pictures that are a part of RealPlayer, along with temporary file location, and each one has a "browse" button beside them, but... this file location gets changed EACH TIME there is a new Update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is the point of setting this yourself, if the program coders are lazy, and resets what the user has set and just ignores it and sets it to some default place??????????? Now I have multiple locations that files end up being stored and I have to manually re-organize where they go. POINTLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This I HAVE ALREADY DONE, but it still will not allow me to download ANY videos because for some stupid reason, your software thinks I don't have any more room on my drive!!!!!!

The file folder that I have assigned to the videos is currently empty and I have plenty of room to save files on my HDD!!!!!!!!!!!

You are not opening the correct preferences. You will need to open Preferences in RealDownloader and not RealPlayer. As previously mentioned, you can open Preferences in RealDownloader by following these steps.

Please make sure that the RealDownloader has a download path. To resolve,

     1. Open RealDownloader

    2. Click the RealDownloader logo on the top left corner and go to Preferences

WOW. Ok, so RealPlayer/Downloader does the same stupid thing that Windows operating system does and causes the user all kinds of problems (having multiple place to tell Windows the same thing, like what to do or where to put something!!)!!!

First off, this is the first time I have ever seen Preferences in Downloader as separate from RealPlayer. I never knew it existed. The programs are both added to ones computer together, at the same time, when one downloads the software or gets a new version of the software. BUT... one needs two separate places to reference the same thing!!??!! So, question here: what happens in the software if someone changes the place where they want to store their files, (using the "browse" button) in RealPlayer but NOT to the same place as in Downloader (or vice versa)??? Which one is it going to use??? How does the software decide where to put their file??? One of them needs to have preference over the other, or else the program could end up in a quandary as to where to put the downloaded file or could just crash!!!!! But this new update to the software left the downloader option in preferences file location BLANK!!!! So there was nowhere for it to put the downloaded files!!!!!! No wonder it now comes back and tells me there isn't enough room to store anything!!!! It seems to prefer the location from Downloader over the file location that one puts in RealPlayer!! Go figure. So the new question: why is there even an option to change the file location for downloaded videos in RealPlayer???? Some coder dropped the ball on this one!!!!!!! So why doesn't your software when one changes one location, automatically change the other, so that there is no confusion as to where files are supposed to go?? How hard is that???

As to your instructions to change the preferences in Downloader, there is no way to open Downloader, without first trying to download a video, and then having to stop that download once the window is open, because for me, there isn't any file location put it in. Once that has happened, THEN go into Downloader preferences and add in the file location!!! You left out too many steps for me to follow your instructions properly. It took me way too long to figure out what you meant for me to do!!! Obviously, RealPlayer is making their software with too many errors or just rushing to get the latest version out too soon before it has been tested, with bad program coding, for people to use properly and it work correctly!!!!!!!

If they decide to make changes to how the software works, you need to add instructions, say, in a readme file, to warn the user of said changes, so people aren’t confused as to how to do what they are used to doing!!!

I would think most of this would just be common sense!

Thank you for your detailed description. There are multiple ways you can open RealDownloader.

    1. RealDownloader as a separate program in Windows

    2. Right click on RealPlayer logo from your system tray and click Download Videos

With respect to the storage location. RealDownloader's Preference tells where to save the file you are downloading. In RealPlayer's Preferences, you have the option to add the location where your media files are stored so it can add to its library. The former is to save it a particular location while the latter is look for a location where your media files are. Therefore they are 2 different functionalities.

If your Save To location is blank, it means that something went wrong with the installation hence the error message "No space".

    Real time Player                                            01-03-20

Can you please STOP updates that are pure problems for your paying

users!!!   This happens way too often. Latest update cannot be verified so

many of vids will not play and I also have no audio!!!!  FIX this fast as I am

very tired of this same old scenario.  This is very sloppy  and unnecessary.

Louis C. Perez     How are even going to know when you internally fixed

this problem anyway.?  Just a mess.
