While deleting duplicate videos in my library, the green scrolling bar does not stop. My computer freezes.
I right clicked the duplicate, clicked on delete, selected removal from both the library and computer memory (middle selection), the popup shows the action occurring. The green scrolling bar passes from left to right. I assumed the action I wanted occurred when the video disappears from the library, which allows me to move on to the next duplicate.
I made a mistake and began to delete a video I wanted to keep. As the green bad began to scroll I clicked on "cancel" in the popup. The green bar kept scrolling indefinitely. My computer froze. I thought that all my prior deletions were being canceled because of how long the green scrolling bar kept running. However, the bar never stopped. In order to get my computer back, I triple clicked CTRL< ALT<DEL and then clicked on Task Manager, which showed all the running activity on my computer. I scrolled down to your "RealPlayer" section and noticed two programs running in the same speed and sequence as the green bar. I right clicked on both and suspended them. (Did I, by doing this, interfere with normal operations of your program?)
I was able to open with your icon and reload your program, returning again to the library to resume cleaning up my library videos. I noticed that all my previous deletions were gone. Which is good. I scrolled down to where the problem occurred to continue my deletions. I could not delete any further. When I attempted to delete the next duplicate, when I clicked on the middle selection, the green scroll bar started but never stopped. My computer froze again. I had to CTRL<ALT<DEL.
Now, what do I do? I just purchased your program to copy to disc a movie I had purchased that had to be loaded online. That occurred successfully. I am now trying to learn your software to do other thing, and the "above" happened.
Please tell me what I can do. Thanks. Gary Wise
