YouTube Downloads
This is for information - It is ONLY YouTube videos that RealPlayer cannot download. I have tried other downloaders / live stream recorders (Replay Media Catcher, for example) and none of these can download from YouTube either.
Basically, YouTube have done something to prevent downloading, so don't expect a quick fix - it's Real vs Google, and there can be only one winner in that fight!!

We have a known issue with certain videos where Downloader is not able to detect them to download. This issue started recently and our engineering team is investigating this issue. We will send you an email as soon as we have an update.

I can download 2 or 3 of their videos but 99% of them will not, which I find strange....

It doesn't download YouTube music videos on Goggle or Explorer.
Non-music videos work. And other websites work too.

That sounds like a frustrating limitation, especially when some videos work while most do not. Download restrictions can vary by video, format, and platform changes, so official offline options are often the safer route when available. Permissions also matter if the content will be reused.
The Stream TV example is relevant here because it focuses on adding commentary and original context rather than simply copying material.
