playing dvd

I am knew to RealPlayer.  All I am interested in doing is playing my own DVD collection,  No downloads or anything else.  My DVDs play but use only part of my monitor screen.  I expected full screen playback.  Is this possible?  Strange things happen when I use DVD Navigation -- disc playing will revert to some other menu which does not respond to my mouse.  In other words -- what am I doing wrong.  Thanks.  Charles Meeds

  What is the screen resolution of your monitor? Is this a 4K monitor?
