Garbled streaming

Streaming play is garbled, skippy, jumpy and unrecognisable - old-fashioned Windows media Player has no trouble playing the same stream so it's not the source or the network or the system that's wonky.

I tried all the hardware settings and drivers are bang up to date. I can't find anything on the WWW about it only the anodyne and obvious that I tried anyway.

RealPlayer has been my tool of choice for 20 years, and now it just won't work - WTF is going on?

  Can you please let us know what website you are streaming from through RealPlayer? We would like to test it in-house and see what the problem may be.
