Extortion / Cloud Storage Inventory
I have fully read and reviewed all instructional material related to the expiration of the "free storage coupon" I am only now hearing about. Not only is there nothing whatsoever to support the existence of such a coupon, but there is no longer any mechanism by which I may prevent downloading of my videos to the cloud - an option I never once approved and, when the box was visible, I never ticked.
In other words, RoalNetworks, et al, has never been granted MY permission to upload to any Cloud storage device.
Among the instructions is the option to remove files from the Cloud storage; however, there is no guidance on how to do it, much less, how to view an inventory of the files allegedly stored.
I am not about to download anything to my computer without first seeing what it is... I also do not authorize the deletion of any files ascribed to me unless and until I view the inventory.
I shall email this post in its entirety to customer support. We shall see if the response, guaranteed to be within 48 hours, is commensurate with my complaint. If it is not, or if no response is received, since there is no reference anywhere in my RealNetwork/RealTimes/RealMedia window to anything even remotely referenced as "Cloud" storage, I shall have no recourse save to forward this matter to the FTC and FCC for investigatory review on behalf of the member "class."
I certainly hope it will not be necessary. It is my fervent hope that, moving forward, I may continue to be a very satisfied and loyal customer,
Respectfully submitted...

I will be with you regarding the frustration thus far endured of this matter. The Question/Problem that brought me here: is the following: How can I more easily prevent / OR what is the procedure to delete "or prevent" (possibly by adding a second button) the far too easily uploaded pics. or vids. from being stored in the cloud (ONLY) I want pictures and videos predominantly stored only on PC.

We see a free account under your email address. We used to provide 1GB of free Cloud storage to all our free users. Back in 2018, we removed the free storage but before doing so, we sent out an email to all our free users stating that IF they had any files uploaded to the Cloud, they were requested to download those files. Not all of our free users uploaded to the Cloud. If you didn't upload anything to the Cloud, you could ignore that message which was sent almost 2 years ago.

Gary,
If you want to download videos or photos that are stored in the Cloud, you can log into your Cloud account and download them to your PC. Once you are done with it, you can delete the files from the Cloud.
Right click on your cloud files and click Download.
