Real Player Premium closes immediately after opening

After opening Real Player, I can select videos from the library and things appear to work normally. When I switch to music the application immediately shuts down.

Why is this happening?

  This could due to a bad file or files in your music library. Would you know what is the size of your music library, as in how many songs are available currently in your music library?

  There are over 1200 songs in my music library and these were all being re-loaded. Maybe it was overwhelming the software. 

  Two days later - music files seem to have stabilized. I switched to viewing in list mode to minimize delays in loading the library.
