audio burner to cd problem

In the last week I noticed a problem that when I start selecting items to be burned onto a cd under audio burn, the display immediately shows in red to insert a blank disc despite the inserted disc being a brand new blank disc.  I've rebooted the computer multiple times and searched for possible updates.  Nothing worked or corrected this problem.  Request assistance.

  Do you have multiple CD/DVD drives in your computer? It is quite possible RealPlayer is looking at the wrong CD drive. You can change the settings under Preferences.

  1. Open RealPlayer.

  2. Click the RealPlayer logo on the top left corner and click Preferences.

  3. Expand CD and click CD Burner.

  4. Under Default Recordable Drive, choose the correct drive where you have inserted the CD disk.
