    When a file is being trimmed, by default it is copied to the desktop. If you are seeing a double copy, it is most probably a cache issue on your Windows. You can clear your temporary Internet files. Also you could reinstall RealPlayer to resolve your issue.

    Hi...For each incision you want to make, click on the waveform at the desired place and hit "S" to split the media item. Now the track, formerly consisting of one media item (I assume), will consist of two or more media items. Select the one containing the unwanted content, and hit "Delete". That should do the trick, if I understand your question directly.
