Trouble installing Plus because of account change?
I was trying to upgrade Real Player to Plus. I went through the payment process and got to the download. In the meantime, I realize that my account had my old email that doe not exist anymore. I could not find a way to change it so the only way to resolve this problem was to cancel my account. Next, I created a new account and tried to install the Plus version, using my fresh download. The setup program installed the free version. Go figure. Anyway, I can see that Real charged my credit card for a strange amount of $1.80 (not as I expected $39.99). What is going on? What is the next step? It would be better if we could either talk to an HB at Real or send an email directly to someone who can fix this situation.

We have cancelled your purchase and we can confirm that you won't be charged any further.
If you see an $0.80 or $1.00 transaction from us on your online banking statement, it isn't actually a charge, but an authorization. When you entered your payment information on our website, we requested this authorization to verify that the payment information entered is valid.
Your bank will usually remove the authorization within 48-72 business hours, although this varies from bank to bank.
