Real Downoader / Keeps telling me it is unable to download ANY video i try.
Real Downloader keeps telling me it's UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD any video I try. This is NOT the first time this has happened. About every 3 months or so this same thing happens and I get in touch with you all and you do something on your end and all of a sudden it starts working fine again. Why does this keep happening? This same thing keeps happening and to say the least it is very annoying. Everything on my end should be O.K. My information is all current and up to date auto pay for your service every month on time yet this problem keeps coming back again and again. I need your HELP once again to fix this. I really like real player and want to continue to use it but can't continue dealing with this problem. Maybe the best thing to do is to just terminate my service with you. Hoping I will not have to do that. Can you PLEASE fix this??

Every time websites make changes to their technologies, they don't necessarily inform us and they are not expected to do so. So when the video formats hosted on their websites change, we will have to redesign our Downloader and make it compatible. This is the reason we send out updates frequently.
Can you please provide us with the following information:
1. Open a Windows Folder.
2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
3. Look for a file named videodl.exe.
4. Right click on this file and click Properties --> Details tab
5. Please let me know what the file version reads as?0 -
Same thing is happening to me! So frustrating. I upgraded to premium and it hasn't help. I am a teacher and love this when it works for school as we have not internet at school. So I download at home then take my computer to school. How did you contact them?
