I have been using RP for years, and every cd I make is for my car in mp3. I don't know what you are asking as in music, but to dvd or Blu-Ray, My neighbour tried it years ago to record and play he got nothing I hope you have better luck. Last year I upgraded to Win 10 big mistake, RP doesn't even find a burner? Still the same external player etc.

    Michael,

We tested by burning audio files to a 650MB CD and a 700 CD-RW and in both cases we were able to burn successfully. When inserting a DVD, you can only burn video files and you should choose Video Disc Burner. You can't burn audio files onto a DVD disk. That being said, RealPlayer can burn to a Blu-Ray disk but can only burn up to 120 minutes of video files.

When you say you are burning music albums, are these Audio files or Video files? Can you please confirm.

    Ecky,

We see that you have free account. To burn MP3, you will need RealPlayer Plus. However, you can still burn Audio CD as a free user.

If RealPlayer is not detecting the burner, it is quite possible that the burn lens in your internal CD burner is faulty. You can confirm this by burning some audio files using Windows Media Player. If it burns successfully in Windows Media Player with your internal CD burner, then the problem is with RealPlayer's installation. Can you please confirm if that is the case?
