Why does converter trim videos

I have found real converter is stripping contant from a video file so that a 40 minute video becomes a 4 minute mp4 file whats the point of having a summery of a video???its pointless either convert the video in full length or not at all

  When downloading a video, it would download in its entirety. Can you please provide the link to this 40 minute video so we can test it in-house.
