inserting my playlists & folders from 16 into newer player

Can you please let us know if you want to know how to do it or have errors while doing it? The more information you can provide, the better we can help.

I have an extensive number of playlists (albums in folders) when I updated because version 16 is outdated all were nolonger available, I always keep a backup but was unable to find a way of making the newer version recognise them, the only advice I could find was start again but that would involve many, many hours of work.
As a temp, measure I have re-installed Version 16 even though it frequently fails under W10 but I want to play music every day.
Many thanks for any help you can give me
Regards
Eric
I did this but no sign of any playlist, I tried uninstalling and re-installing 16 again and found the playlists then tried updating again, once more there were no playlists.
What can I be doing wrong?

If you have your playlists on RealPlayer v.16, updating to RealPlayer v.18 by following these instructions will automatically move your playlists to v.18.
https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/articles/204040083-Update-RealPlayer-software
If this is not happening, please let us know.
Please note: You can't move playlists from 1 PC to another PC.
