We are monitoring the adaption of the HEVC codec to prioritize the work necessary to add support. We do not have any timelines at the moment for adding support to RealPlayer.

Hi RN Support, how is that monitoring going? It's been 4 years and HEVC is here to stay for the foreseeable future, so I think it is about time you did something about this. We have had two "one-time" upgrades to pay for since 2022, yet little or no product improvements to justify them. You might also want to remove the false claim in your blog that states Real Player plays every video format (https://blog.real.com/video-formats/). And it's a bit ironic that you hype the product by saying "Sync downloads between your phone and your PC.The fastest, easiest, and most fun way to build your video collection" and yet your player cannot play them on a Win 11 machine! At a bare minimum, this codec should be provided to Plus users. Let's hope the issue is resolved before the next time we are forced to pay for a new version, else this might be where me and Real part ways after around 25 years as a loyal customer. It's a shame.

I'm experiencing the same errors on both my laptop and PC, which rules out a Windows 11 issue. It seems like the downloads are failing possibly due to the fact that they haven't been tested by RealNetworks. Since my system clock is auto-synced with Microsoft, that might be playing a role in causing the problem. I’ve included screenshots for better context, and I would appreciate any insights or suggestions. home furniture
