Real used to work quite well, but its performance has been going downhill, and there is zero support. Blaming everything on clogged up networks does not hold water. While it is true that load on networks has increased, everyone has stepped up and performance has been maintained by most and enhanced by many others....except, of course, Real Times/Real Download.
Downloader works 5% of time
Real player/ Realtimes has no customer support to fix issues we are having with their Lack Luster Downloader. They charge us 50 dollars to purchase this software, and then say to hell with us afterwards and make us figure out how to fix something that has to be fixed on their end. If any of you Realplayer employees happen to be on here and reading this put customer service back, because we deserve our needs meet and two fix this downloader freezing over and over issue. I am so frustrated with your company, I am at the point of telling people to go somewhere for this type of service, because you all fall short at providing a product that can work consistently or should I say a downloader that hardly works at all, I have a better chance at dodging baseballs with my eyes closed, than trying to get your downloader from not freezing when I Que it up.

Can you please follow these steps?
1. Open Internet Options from the search window.
2. Under General Tab, click Settings in Browsing History and click View Files. (This will open a folder with a lot of files. Select all and delete them).
3. Close Internet Options by clicking Ok.
4. Using Chrome, Firefox or Edge, go to YouTube.com and play any video and click the Downloader button. (This action will still show "Unable to download" message)
5. Close all Windows
6. Restart your PC
