Downloading
I purchased RealPlayer decades ago and it has not improved since. Now you have this new version, 2020, and it will not download any videos. Not in IE, Edge or Chrome. It says it is downloading but stops within 3 seconds. Everything is updated and why should I pay you AGAIN for a new version if I cannot download any videos/music? Perhaps you can help but if not I am totally done with RP.

If the issue persists, please provide us with a sample URL that you are unable able to download. -
Can you please let us know the following information:
1. Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
2. Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab.Please provide us with the version number you see there.

I have the same problem having downloaded update version 2020.9.20.0
I now cannot download any videos and Real want me to convert to a premium option costing $40 which is not going to happen

Same problem here. Glad I got it half price because I'm sure there's no refund. Been using RP forever but guess its time to find a new and helpful player.

Same problem Real wont even start down loading. I've updated still no result. Even says cant find a video on this page. Its You Tube and it can't find a video?

Thank you for writing back. You do seem to have the latest version of the Downloader.
Can you please go to this folder, delete the cookies.txt file and restart your PC?
C:\Users\<your pc name>\AppData\Local\Real\RealPlayer\Content\DL2 (Please note: Content folder may be hidden, if so set it to show hidden files)
This should fix the issue if not, please let us know
